This month, the IPA - International Photography Awards, awarded my photographs with four Honorable Mentions. My series "American Wild: The Face of the American Mustangs" and single images "Wild Innocence", "Onaqui Wild" and "Snow Stallion" won the jurors' hearts in the Professional: Wild Life category.
"Beyond the Mountains" is part of the winning series. An Onaqui wild stallion walks to the top of the hill as he hears sounds coming from afar. As a protector of his family, it was crucial to make sure no threat was imminent.
I am grateful that, through this awards, the faces of these wild mustangs will be seen by many around the world that wouldn't otherwise get to see them.
