“THERE IS NOTHING I WANT BUT YOUR PRESENCE. IN FRIENDSHIP TIME DISSOLVES." - Rumi
"FRIENDS"
Two inseparable bachelor mustangs enjoy each other's company.
Onaqui, UT
Through wild horse photography, I have personally seen the strong bonds that exist in the wild! In the vast open desert plains, where the wind relentlessly whips the dust and the grass sways beneath their majestic presence, wild horses engage in a cycle of connection and dependence. Their friendships are forged on survival, where trust is the lifeline that binds them together.
Through their shared experiences in the harsh desert environment, wild horses become more than mere companions; they become a family, a tribe.
"UNSPOKEN"
A soft touch of the nose, clothed in muddy, tangled manes
and the contentment of companionship.
McCullough Peaks, WY
They communicate largely with an unspoken language, their bodies conveying a certain message, their eyes reflecting understanding. In the wild, they find solace and strength with each other. Wild horses' emotional bonds and unity remind us of the profound beauty that lies within the simplicity of friendship.
July 30 - International Friendship Day
Thank you to those that have personally encouraged me in growing my wild horse art business and shown me care and affection! Thank you also to those that have engaged me to do equine portraits of your special horses! I appreciate your friendships more than you’ll ever know!
