"I AM NEITHER CLEVER NOR SPECIALLY GIFTED. I AM ONLY VERY VERY CURIOUS."
- Albert Einstein
The Montgomery Pass wild horses (also known as the Mono Lake horses) are located on the California/Nevada border. The herd I often visit in that area roams on a beautiful evergreen meadow blessed with fresh spring water that runs down from the Eastern Sierra mountains.

There I spotted a tiny and very light Palomino colt standing completely still bravely watching my every move with curious eyes. Mom was not far, but it certainly took courage and plenty of curiosity to leave her side.
