In the McCullough Peaks HMA of WY, the wind can be described as “omnipotent”; it gusts and whips with such violence that, at times, one’s hair remains parallel to the ground.
Photographing wild horses in stormy weather, although incredibly challenging, can be extremely rewarding. On that day the winds helped me capture the movement and the ruggedness of the stallions mane.
