Wild horses have a fascinating way of expressing affection and building social bonds within their herds. One of the most intimate gestures they share is the gentle rubbing of noses.

Most importantly, it’s a way of communicating comfort, reassurance, and mutual respect. It’s vital for their survival, serving as a calming mechanism, helping to reduce stress or tension, strengthen trust and camaraderie among the herd members.
