High on the mountain, a small stand of Jeffrey pines rises above the fog - their silhouettes crisp against the muted sky while the trees below dissolve into softness. The mist wraps the mountainside like a bride’s veil, allowing just the essential forms to emerge. This “veil” creates a sense of intimacy and intention, drawing the eye to the few pines that stand tall at the top.
