As we walked around the lake after a winter storm, light sifted through an aspen grove, soft and pale. It was absolute stillness. The scene felt other‑worldly - ethereal, almost ghostly - as if the forest were speaking in quiet breaths.
My vision for "Aspen Whispers" and "Aspen Whispers II" images became to honor that feeling - to capture only the slender shapes of the aspens and the gentle rhythm of the grove while letting the abstract leave space for the viewer’s own imagination to wander.
