BEFORE YOUR SESSION

ONCE YOUR SESSION IS BOOKED a half hour phone consultation will be scheduled to discuss goals and expectations for all parties.

At that time Maria will also have the opportunity to learn about your horse and answer any questions you may have.

A session contract and PDF with information on how to prepare for your photo shoot will be emailed to you after the phone consultation.

A signed contract and deposit lock in your date.

DURING YOUR SESSION

WITH FULL CREATIVE CONTROL over lighting, Maria will capture shape, form and the essence of your horse highlighted in and elegant way through minimal and intimate compositions.

Throughout the session, you will be given detailed direction on how to position your horse, when necessary.

A special photo halter will be provided for handling your horse, which is later removed from the image in post-production.  Alternatively, you can choose to have your special bridle or halter in the images, if desired.

THE SAFETY OF YOUR HORSE is our primary concern.

With that in mind, our mobile studio is designed in such a way as to promote maximum safety for the animal.

No cords will be run on the ground. We consciously take time at the beginning of the session to acclimate your horse to the surroundings and equipment.

"THE FINAL RESULTS ARE BREATHTAKING..."

"I CAN'T RECOMMEND WORKING WITH MARIA ENOUGH. She provided  expert guidance throughout the entire process from scheduling and  prep, staging and set up, with clear directions for how the photo shoot would be conducted and how I could help and participate, through photo proof selection and printing and framing advice. She was incredibly kind and gracious through the entire process and truly cared about capturing my horse’s character and essence with her artistry.

The photo shoot set up was at my barn and it was simple and safe and the session was relaxed and fun.

She worked carefully with my horse to acclimatize him to the lights and the back drop so he was relaxed and happy through the entire session.

The results were simply stunning - Maria has a true gift for capturing and transferring both the grace and strength of a horse in  photographic images with unimaginable clarity and detail. Her talent, experience and expertise were evident through the entire process - from the use of the lighting  during the photo shoot, to the editing and the printing

- she ensures that the final results are breathtaking." - Margaret K. | El Dorado Hills, CA
